John on Hey business owner, should you jump on the daily deals bandwagon?

Thanks for the article Bob! I haven't jumped on the bandwaggon yet. I do own a restraunt and have offered half off coupons in the past. Usually the customers they bring in are only there for the discount and won't return unless another deal is offered. I have found the best way to promote business is by word of mouth and showing appritiation to the returning customers by buying them a drink, appitizer or dessert. This is more personal and is directly targeted at the customers I want.
